As I have listened to Mr. Romney in the last year and in the recent days, I am amazed at the many different positions he has taken on our American health care. First, he wanted to take credit for the Affordable Health Care Act saying it was based on his health care law when he was Governor of Massachusetts. Then, he completely rejected the Act saying he would repeal it on day one if he were elected president. Now Mr. Romney says, "Oh, no, I will keep coverage for pre-existing conditions and let students stay on their parents' health insurance until they are 26. Of course, he fails to mention that those with pre-existing conditions could keep their health insurance only if they had had insurance coverage prior to his being elected.
Then, there is the matter of abortions. First, Mr. Romney was pro-choice saying a woman should have the right to do what she wanted with her body. Then, it was no abortions, no contrasceptives, and personhood was accepted. The next thing I heard was that abortions were O.K.for rape or incest, or if a mother's life was in danger. At this point, I am not sure and I don't think Mr. Romney is sure about what he believes. I can not understand how any thinking woman, particularly those with girls, could possiby vote for this man. If he doesn't know where he stands now, what would he do with the Tea Party pressures if he were elected president? We MUST not allow that to happen. We all need to vote and help get out the vote or our country's health care and our country will be in very deep danger.
